While he was home in Michigan for the President’s Day Recess, Congressman Tim Walberg visited the Center for Family Health in Jackson on Monday, February 18, for a tour and a discussion on the value of Health Centers.
Center for Family Health CEO Molly Kaser and Board Chair Ted Hilleary shared data showing the impact that the Center for Family Health is making to improve the health and well-being of residents of Jackson County, while also saving the health care system money.
A Center for Family Health board member, who is also a patient, shared her personal story about how she lost her job, became ill, and was fortunate that the Center for Family Health was there to care for her. It is personal stories like hers that really bring to life the value of Health Centers, like the Center for Family Health, in “opening the doors to health care for all.”
Thank you to Congressman Walberg for his interest in learning more about the Center for Family Health and the Health Center Program.
